WRB Energy Expands Staff to Serve Latin America Renewable Energy Market

TAMPA, Fla. – WRB Energy, a leading renewable energy developer, today announced the appointment of two new staff members charged with expanding the development of clean energy in the Latin American market: Mr. Trevor Udwin as Vice President of Renewable Energy and Mr. Paul Lopez as Senior Accountant.

Mr. Udwin brings 10 years of experience in renewable technology and market research through the distinct perspectives of manufacturing, project development, and academia. Prior to joining WRB, Mr. Udwin worked at Mission Solar Energy as Product Manager, deploying new photovoltaic (PV) technologies and overseeing quality testing. Additionally, he spent several years developing and implementing energy efficiency projects for mining companies in Latin America. Mr. Udwin holds a dual master’s degree in Energy Resources and Public Affairs from the University of Texas at Austin, where he spent three years researching innovative and effective funding models for clean technologies.

Mr. Lopez is Senior Accountant at WRB Enterprises, parent company of WRB Energy.  Mr. Lopez, a native of Peru, brings more than 20 years of accounting, auditing, and management experience in diverse business groups. He began his career in public accounting with BDO Peru, and later worked as Manager at Repsol in Lima, Peru.  Prior to joining WRB, Mr. Lopez served as Controller at High Profile, LLC, and as a Financial Analyst at Office Depot and NCCI Holdings, Inc.  He also worked at NextEra Energy Resources, LLC, as Construction Accountant for domestic and international development of solar and wind projects under construction.  Mr. Lopez, a certified CPA in Peru, earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Lima and holds an MBA from Florida Atlantic University.
